We’re growing a privacy-first advertising stack used by major agencies and brands. As a Senior Full Stack DevOps Engineer, you will architect, automate, secure, and operate AI-powered, cloud-native systems—raising the bar on innovation, reliability, delivery velocity, and cost efficiency across audience building, Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH), a demand-side platform (DSP), and retail media solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure & environments: Build with Infrastructure as Code and Git-based, declarative environment management; put guardrails in code and promote changes safely across stages.
  • AIOps at scale: Own AIOps for the team—apply it at scale and enjoy living on the bleeding edge.
  • Developer platform & DevEx: Provide self-service “golden paths,” service catalogs, and templates; keep CI/CD fast and safe (progressive delivery, automated rollbacks).
  • Containers & platform operations: Standardize image build practices and scanning; run and tune container orchestration for production workloads.
  • Security by default: Design with security from day one—partner on threat modeling and hardening, enforce safe defaults, and keep risks visible and actionable.
  • Reliability, observability, and cost: Lead incidents and postmortems, plan capacity, and keep goals in target with meaningful dashboards and alerts.
  • Full-stack contribution: Read/modify service code, improve deployment patterns and runbooks, and unblock teams with pragmatic engineering support.
  • Standards, docs, and mentorship: Participate and create!

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience (Required)
  • 7+ years in DevOps/SRE/Platform or full-stack engineering with real production ownership.
  • Proven end-to-end ownership of services in a major public cloud (identity and access, networking, load balancing, storage).
  • Delivered Infrastructure as Code and container orchestration in production.
  • Measurable improvements to CI/CD throughput and reliability (build/test/release pipelines, rollback strategies, progressive delivery).
  • Strong Linux administration and scripting/automation.
  • Lead incidents and postmortems (RCAs) and implemented durable fixes.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Cloud, networking, and reliability: Subnets/routing, DNS/HTTP/TLS, and capacity planning.
  • Infrastructure as Code & environment management: Write and evolve IaC; manage declarative, Git-based environments; apply policy-as-code for safe, auditable changes.
  • Containers & platform operations: Build efficient, secure images; scan artifacts; run and tune container orchestration in production.
  • Observability & Alerting: Instrument metrics/logs/traces and create actionable alerts and dashboards.
  • Security & secrets: Threat modeling, least-privilege access, secret management and rotation, and zero-trust networking principles.
  • Developer experience & AIOps: Create golden paths and templates, improve CI/CD speed and safety, apply AIOps at scale, and collaborate across the stack.
  • Data stores & distributed components: Spin up all components of a distributed app—relational databases, NoSQL/key-value/document stores, caches, and message queues/streams—including provisioning, basic performance tuning, schema/data migrations, and backup/restore.

    • At least 18 years of age
    • Legally authorized to work in the United States

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

    Key Facts About Seattle Tech

    • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
    • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
    • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
    • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
    • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
    • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
